Carburettor Cleaner

The carburettor concentrated cleaning fluid is formulated to work really very well in any ultrasonic cleaner. And it does. It gives fantastic results when cleaning your carburettors, valves and fuel injectors etc. The great thing about our fluid (and what makes it different) is it's ability be used on all metals found inside engine castings such as cylinder heads, rocker cases or crankcases etc. If you are looking for an actual ultrasonic tank, look HERE.

The carb cleaner is an ideal, quick way to remove dirt from any surface including alloys and aluminium castings. Not only does it remove physical dirt but also acts as a cosmetic brightener for dulling that develops over time.

NOTE: When you have a component manufactured over 40 years ago, it can't look better than when it was new although normally the end results are very impressive indeed.

The cleaning process won't damage, corrode or darken metal components. The solution is safe on brass, aluminium and other sensitive metals. It's also safe with rubber O rings (provided that the "O" ring hasn't started to perish). Mix the concentrate 1 part solution to 10 parts water. (1 litre bottle makes 10 litre of working solution). 

How long will the solution last before needing to be replaced?

The carb cleaning fluid can be used over and again until it looks dirty. There's no rule when to change the fluid, but the idea of an ultrasonic cleaner is for deep and thorough cleaning. When you can't see the bottom of the tank, it's perhaps time to change it.

Directions:

The carburettor cleaning fluid is a concentrate and added to water at a 10:1 ratio (10 part water to 1 part carb cleaner). For heavily soiled components this can be strengthened to 7:1. The working temperature of the ultrasonic tank should be set between 50 - 80 degrees centigrade. After cleaning, rinse the parts and leave to dry.

Eco carb cleaner

The eco ultrasonic carburettor cleaner concentrate is a time and energy (money) saver. This product saves on tank heat up time, which means that it's helpful for cold winter days, especially if you have a cold workshop. It takes 50% less time to reach working temperature.

The solution is a micro-emulsion capable of solubilising oily, hydrophobic substances in a bi-phase composition, making it highly effective at cleaning surfaces. This removes the need for chlorinated solvents, hydrocarbon solvents and high pH caustic solutions. It is very effective at a lower working temperature, between 15°C and 45°C for lower energy costs and short heat up time. Eco Ultrasonic Carburettor Cleaner is a pH neutral and environmentally friendly solution, specially made for use in ultrasonic baths and works at a lower temperatures. available in 2 strengths - (standard) 10:1 or (super concentrate) 40:1.
